I have decided to call my travelling doll – Adelia
I’m really terrible at choosing names and have been looking at heaps of lists of names… I did have Darla stuck in my head – that’s the name of the blonde vampire in the tv shows Buffy and Angel (I love vampires) and also the name of the dentist’s scary niece in the Pixar movie Nemo (I also love fishies)… but Darla doesn’t really suit this doll…
I did think of Devika too – it means Little Goddess in Indian (Sanskrit). Geddit? she’s little and she’s gonna be so spoilt (by me) LOL but it think it sounds a bit harsh spoken out loud… I wanted a softer name…
Adelia looks pretty in hand written form, it also starts with A so it means my little lady’s photos will be on top of my file lists and I can still call her Dee for short.
She also gets to call first dibs on my new goodies! Here she is modelling a Silkstone fashion – Midnight Mischief SKU# B0148 (2002) – that I scored in a raffle! weeeeee!
