I’ve been listing the Fashion Royalty dolls gradually on the DollWiki site and I’ve finally finished listing the Adele dolls (her name starts with A… lucky lady lol I am so not looking forward to listing the Veroniques and Vanessa dolls! There’s so many of them! Next up, Agnes… another lady with a name starting with A…)
So I thought to compile an image grid of all the Adele dolls (I hope the list is complete, but there are no guarantees!)
Out of all these dolls… I only have the final one – The Muse
To see who which doll is, check out the Adèle Makéda page on the DollWiki…
Here’s to next year, 2010… wishing I can add more Adele(s) to my collection!

Thanks for your hard work in listing the Fashion Royalty dolls on the DollWiki site. Adele is one fierce doll… and I don’t even own one. I need to change that.

[...] Brilliance Adele arrived and she is just gorgeous [...]
I have six of them and love them so much! Brilliance is amazing! The Muse will be home soon! Did you see there is a new Adele for 2010?

I have all of the Adeles except Miss Royaltini. She is my absolute favorite doll character.

I would just like to say I have been following your blogs and I do agree that we need dolls that represent people of color more thoroughly. I myself am someone of Afro-Indo-Trinidadian descent and I feel like as a person of color we need to create our own companies and stop expecting companies owned by the white majority to bend to our needs or communities needs. It is the same for modeling agencies, movies, television, and mass media. Create the image you want to communicate to the world. I hear too much about people complaining and not doing. It becomes mundane and poisonous to the mind. focus on developing these companies that are designing beautiful brown dolls with array of features that are present all over Africa and abound. Furthermore knowing my personal ethnic lineage , my family is from the north of Africa, east, and sub-Saharan.We come from the Berber-tribe which has a big history of mixing, Euro-Asian, Han-China, Mediterranean Europe, and Nigeria. And Much more, I say this to say that even though it is true many of the dolls seem to be painted black, since we are the beginning of humanity do we not possess the same array of facial features seen in these dolls. I mean In Africa there are tribes of people who have slender noses, light-brown skin, wavy hair, almond-eyes, wide,noses,high-cheek-bones, flat -cheeks. Dude we have it all, relax. If you want to see dolls that represent you then design them and create a line. I am just saying it is disturbing how I see my people caught up on the problem and not creating the solution. All is said with love
