Doll = Mann’s Chinese Theater Barbie AA SKU# 24998 (2000). A CC doll was also available and funnily enough, even though the word Chinese is in the name… there was NO ASIAN doll…

The building has “Chinese” in its name due to its “Chinese-looking-facade”. There is nothing actually “Chinese” about its architect or owners. This building is now called Grauman’s Chinese Theatre since the company Mann Theatres went bankrupt, coincidently in the same year these dolls were issued O_o

    I like the vividness of the red against the overall black-white photos. Very striking. Thanks for sharing.

    I missed getting the Mann’s Chinese Theatre Barbie when they came out. Shrug. I had wanted the AA one, but I thought I did have a lot of other dolls with that headmold. Shrug. Now I’m not sure ….
