Little Neef was finally discharged from animal hospital on Thursday afternoon. He is still very sick and the vet has confirmed that his kidneys have completely failed and we are just taking it day by day. We keep him on the bedside table in his carrier overnight for night feedings and monitoring. I’ve been giving him a cocktail of drugs as well as syringe feeding him every 4-5 hours. It is tedious work and he hates it but each day he lives now is a miracle…
Thank you so much to those who have wished him to get better soon.
(yes, he has crusty eyes from being ill and a crusty chin from the food spilling from the syringe feeds – I’ve tried to clean them with just a wet cloth but he is quite sensitive and I don’t want to make him anymore uncomfortable than he already is)
On Friday (hmmm yesterday I suppose), a box from Integrity arrived. I’ve only just opened it today. After the initial confusion that the Glam Zone dolls I’d ordered came in plastic bags (lol I am so spoilt with all those fancy boxes) I’d realised that the one in the beige dress actually uses the Janay face sculpt!
I don’t know when I’ll have a chance to properly look at them and take photos… tomorrow will be Valentines Day but me and the partner are in no mood for any of that stuff with taking Neef to the vet and taking care of him now that he’s home. I think the partner wants to take little Neefie to his parents place tomorrow and spend the day there as his father loves the little bugger too and wants to see him before the rainbow bridge beckons…

Nice to see Neef here, but so sad to hear about his health. Still. he’s back with you so that’s good. Bet he’s glad to be home.
Congrats on that GlamZone doll with the Janay face. I recall seeing her on the W Club back when I was a member. Sigh.
Want to thank you – an earlier post of yours about your search for missing Black complexions inspired a new batch of posts for my blog about Black male complexions as shown in various doll and action figure lines. Might get at least one out today. Not sure.
Wishing you all strength, Dana

I’m sorry about your bunny. Most of my cats have gone the same way.
I wish Integrity had made the ITBEs baggie dolls and cut the price. Their boxes are basically fancy shippers. I was looking at my collection the other night, wondering how much money I’ve spent on cardboard I threw out.

I glad your bunny is feeling better! Pets are like children, you don’t know what to do without them!
Now about the dolls I have one of those their in the beige dress! If you want to see photos I will have some by the end of this week! I have some free time!
