Glam Zone Dolls – Variations?

Do the GlamZone dolls come with random faces and body (bent arms and/or straight arms) sculpts?

I’ve bought doll “B” (red dress)
- who came with Alysa’s face 2 bent arms

…and two doll “A” (beige dress) -
- one came with Janay’s face with straight right arm and bent left arm
- another one came with Jade’s face with both arms bent.

The promo photo for doll “A” shows
- a doll with Jade’s face with a bent right arm and straight left arm

I’m confused!

More pics and rants to come once work allows me to have somewhat of a life outside it… and I do not see the light at the end of this tunnel *grump*

Still waiting for little Neefie’s ashes to come home… *sigh*

When you say cheapie, how cheap? They look great, especially Jade. :)

They are still $15 USD – which is about $16.50 AUD at the moment but USPS mail for these two items cost $41.70 USD haha cheap dolls become expensive dolls once they board the plane over the ocean.

    Wow.

Postage from Great Britain to the U.S. is pricey, too. I forget how big a dent it was – mercifully perhaps LOL. Express mail to/from Japan is costly too.

Eh, but we really want some dolls and action figures ;-P

I recall that seeing a Janay-faced GlamZone doll, but I didn’t know the red-dress GlamZone had Alysa’s face OR that there was a Jade GlamZone. Applause. You are the Janay Scoop Reporter ;-D

To be honest, I didn’t know what the dolls would look like up close until I received them – they don’t really have individual names, I’ve just given them names according to the face sculpt used…

Oh. Well, it’s still neat to know that they used the Alysa and the Jade molds for some of the GlamZone dolls. They mention using the Ru Paul body; perhaps they are using old stock?

Congrats!! Those dolls are gorgeous!!! I have several of them and I still have loads of fun with them. I just wish they had a variety of skin tones :( I recently did an OOAK dark skinned Janay with the Rupal body and I really think Integrity should have given it a try for mass production!!

Janay was one of the first dolls I bought as an adult. Found her in a discount bin for $6 and thought “wow.” Since I’m not really a ‘collector’ I had no clue how far black dolls had come since I was a kid. Janay was my re-introduction of sorts. Before her, the only twelve-inchers I knew about was Barbie.
