Integrity 2010 Lines – Monograms

So here are the 2010 Integrity Toy Doll lines on this blog finally… or at least the beginnings of it.

I shall start with the Monograms, mostly because in terms of dolls of color there’s pretty much nothing to say about them so it’s an easy (but not so nice) start for the review of the 2010 lines here.

So here we have the Monograms, a doll series that seems to share just one face sculpt for now. From left to right you have -

  • Brilliance – blue eyed, soft tanned skin brunette (wigged) doll, I suppose she could be partially African or South American… but she looks more Italian than anything else to me!
  • Disclosure – brown eyed, pale skinned raven haired doll = no comment here
  • Dreamscape – blue eyed, pale skinned raven hair doll = no comment here
  • Enigmatic – green eyed, pale skinned redhead (wigged) = no comment here
  • Incandescent – grey eyed, pale skinned brunette = no comment here
  • Magnetism (Aussie Convention Doll released just yesterday) – green eyed, pale skinned redhead = no comment here

    • So… if your idea of diversity is an increase in redheads, then you’ve got it! Or… you could go for the Italian…

    Personal boo boo – have ordered Enigmatic because… ? Would have loved to get Brilliance but she was accidently released to dealers before she was to be revealed and now she’s sold out and I didn’t look into her because I was trying to avoid the Monograms!

    Officially Obsessed with Janay and Friends

    It’s official. I am OBSESSED with JANAY and FRIENDS.

    Alysa

    Giselle
    Jade

    I spend hours searching on the internet and ebay for Janay dolls and friends. They are near impossible to find. If you think Janay is hard to find… try looking for her friends!

    I even know what my holy grail set of Janay and Friends will be – the Iceland Ball series. I can’t find anymore images anywhere and I’m giving myself ten years to complete this series. LOL. I like lots of time…

    After Janay, I’m looking furiously for Giselle dolls – not the Fashion Royalty one – and then followed by Jade and Alysa. I’m not sure… but do Alysa and Jade share face sculpts? Their noses sort of look a teensy bit different but I can’t tell from the tiny pictures I’ve got! They both have a squarish jawline lol like me… speaking of which… my tooth hurts…

    I’ve posted topics in forums craving for any Janay tidbits. Multiple forums. Yep, obsessed.

    Looking to Start up a Janay Database

    I have left this note at the Yahoo Integrity Toys Janay and Friends group

    Hi, I’m hoping to start up a database for past Janay playline dolls. I am mostly interested in Janay at this point in time and will eventually want to list the other dolls in the series too.

    This is a sample page of what the list will look like – http://www.abcdoll.org/dollwiki/Mbili_Face_Mould – this is a list of Mattel dolls with the Mbili face sculpt. I list them by faces and by characters and sometimes if I have time, by series too.

    If you could help me out, please email me pictures of Janay dolls at dollsofcolor @ gmail.com (remember to take out the spaces!)

    Information required -
    01. Face photo taken from the front showing face paint, hair etc
    02. Name of doll/series, year released, stock number
    03. Extra notes and photos are bonus!

    I’m extending this request here too.

    Another thing… the Janay face – this one – was Janay the first character to use this sculpt? I generally title my lists after the doll to first use the sculpt. And then I also write up a character list, since one character can use various sculpts over time.

    Any help will be appreciated!

    PS. I am also broke… so any offers to buy this or that rare htf Janay will be sadly declined. I am only after information, not solid goods… although I wish I could buy all the Janays in the world… *dreams*

    Fashion Royalty’s Adèle Makéda Dolls

    I’ve been listing the Fashion Royalty dolls gradually on the DollWiki site and I’ve finally finished listing the Adele dolls (her name starts with A… lucky lady lol I am so not looking forward to listing the Veroniques and Vanessa dolls! There’s so many of them! Next up, Agnes… another lady with a name starting with A…)

    So I thought to compile an image grid of all the Adele dolls (I hope the list is complete, but there are no guarantees!)
