Wednesday, March 10th, 2010Remember That Sunset OOAK Competition?
Monday, March 8th, 2010Well, I haven’t forgotten but life (by life, I actually mean work itself alone) has been sooo hectic that I haven’t had a chance to do much else.
Since I’ve had no suggestions for a final submission date, it will now be decided to be the 17th of April 2010 which is the third Sunday next month.
For the competition requirements, check out Who Wants a Minty Mbili Doll? as originally posted on the 8th of October, last year 2009.
Recently, NiniMomo (OOAK Doll Artists) have added a Miss Florida Keys to their line of creations. As of now, this doll has been sold but you can still enjoy the photos

Sunday, January 17th, 2010When Diversity Choice = Blonde or Redhead
Wednesday, January 13th, 2010hmmm… not really
Unfortunately for fans of Gene Marshall, it was announce last year that Gene would be retiring this year along with her friends Violet Waters (tanned/dark skin doll) and Madra Lord (dark haired doll).
Gene Marshall was designed by Mel Odom and originally produced by Ashton-Drake from 1995 and then by Integrity Toys from 2006 onwards.
Part of the celebration (well not really but it sort of became part of it once the retirement announcement was made in my opinion) of Gene’s retirement was the release of three “mini” Gene dolls in 12″ size, the regular Gene dolls are 15 1/2″ tall. They are very expensive (for me) and that’s why it took so long after their release to get just one doll.
I chose the blonde one (which is odd for me because usually I prefer redheads over blonde… just not in this case).
